Rangers' Gray has fractured wrist after comebacker
Texas Rangers right-hander Jon Gray has a fractured right wrist, manager Bruce Bochy announced Friday, according to Evan Grant of the Dallas Morning News.
"Not good news," Bochy said.
Gray was forced to leave Friday's start against the Colorado Rockies after he was struck by a 106.4-mph comebacker off the bat of Michael Toglia.

The 33-year-old was expected to begin the regular season in the starting rotation. Gray posted a 5-6 record with a 4.47 ERA and 7.54 K/9 and amassed 1.8 fWAR across 102 2/3 innings in 2024.
The Rangers announced earlier this week that left-hander Cody Bradford will begin the 2025 campaign on the injured list with elbow soreness.
Texas is expected to start the season with a rotation of Jacob deGrom, Gray, Tyler Mahle, Nathan Eovaldi, and Jack Leiter.
