Seahawks' Metcalf off injury report, to return vs. 49ers
Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf is off the injury report, putting him on track to return Sunday against the San Francisco 49ers, the team announced Friday.
Metcalf has been sidelined the past two games with a reported Grade 1 MCL sprain. He injured his knee in an Oct. 20 victory over the Atlanta Falcons, forcing him to miss losses to the Buffalo Bills and Los Angeles Rams. The Seahawks had a bye last week.
Seattle has struggled without Metcalf, failing to score more than 20 points in either contest.
Despite his absence, Metcalf is still tied for most receiving yards on the team with 568. He's also hauled in 35 catches and three touchdowns.
The Seahawks are attempting to correct course after losing five of their past six games. Their 4-5 record is tied for last in the NFC West.
