Cowboys to host Chiefs on Thanksgiving
The Dallas Cowboys will host the Kansas City Chiefs on Thanksgiving, the NFL announced Wednesday.
Kickoff will be at 4:30 p.m. ET on CBS. The rest of the Thanksgiving slate has yet to be revealed, and the entire 2025 regular-season schedule will be released Wednesday night.
The two Kansas City games that were announced before the official schedule release will both be on holidays, as the team will also host the Denver Broncos on Christmas Day.
Another Cowboys contest was also revealed before Wednesday night: Dallas will travel to Philadelphia on Sept. 4 to take on the division rival Eagles in the first contest of the 2025 NFL regular season.
The Cowboys have hosted a game on Thanksgiving every season since 1966, and the matchup is always one of the most-watched regular-season games of the year.
The Chiefs and Cowboys have not faced off since 2021. Kansas City won the contest 19-9. It's the only time Dak Prescott and Patrick Mahomes have played against each other.
