Indianapolis Colts quarterback Anthony Richardson is confident that he'll be healthy for training camp after missing minicamp due to a shoulder injury.

"I'm all good," Richardson told Swamp 247's Zach Goodall. "Not really even a bump in the road. I feel like I tripped, I fell. Just got back up and hit the ground running again."

Richardson was held out of on-field work after he experienced some pain in his throwing shoulder following an OTA practice earlier this month. Further evaluation showed he had aggravated the AC joint injury that ended his rookie campaign after four games in 2023.

Head coach Shane Steichen was unsure of Richardson's recovery timeline, but the team was optimistic he'd return during training camp and didn't require surgery.

Injuries have plagued the 2023 first-round pick since he entered the league: He's played 15 of a possible 34 contests over two seasons thanks to the aforementioned shoulder injury as well as back and foot issues in his sophomore campaign.

Indianapolis signed Daniel Jones to compete with Richardson for the starting role ahead of the 2025 season.

Richardson has passed for 2,391 yards, 11 touchdowns, 13 interceptions, with a 50.6% completion rate.
