Washington Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels will be sidelined indefinitely after dislocating his left elbow in Sunday's 38-14 loss to the Seattle Seahawks.

Head coach Dan Quinn confirmed the injury Monday, according to Jonathan Jones of CBS Sports.

Quinn added that there's no timetable on Daniels' return "for now" but that the elbow injury will "knock him out for a while," according to Yahoo Sports' Jori Epstein.

Daniels sustained the injury after being tackled during the fourth quarter of Sunday night's game. The Commanders trailed 38-7 at the time. He exited with his left arm in a cast.

Daniels wasn't the only player lost for Washington. Starting cornerback Marshon Lattimore tore his ACL during the loss, NFL Network's Ian Rapoport and Mike Garafolo report. Wide receiver Luke McCaffrey broke his collarbone and will end up on injured reserve, according to Rapoport.

The injury bug has plagued Daniels' second NFL season. The reigning Offensive Rookie of the Year had already missed one game with a hamstring injury and two contests with a knee sprain prior to Sunday.

Marcus Mariota is expected to receive starting duties in Daniels' absence. The veteran has thrown four touchdowns and four interceptions this season, and the team is 1-2 in his three starts.

Wide receiver Terry McLaurin, who missed the matchup with the Seahawks due to a quad injury, isn't expected to suit up for the team's next game against the Detroit Lions, Quinn noted, according to John Keim of ESPN.

The Commanders sit third in the NFC East with a 3-6 record.
