Seattle Seahawks running back Zach Charbonnet will undergo season-ending knee surgery, head coach Mike Macdonald said Monday, according to Seattle Sports' Maura Dooley.

Charbonnet tore his ACL, a source told ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The 25-year-old suffered the injury in the Seahawks' divisional-round win over the San Francisco 49ers on Saturday. He exited after totaling five carries for 20 yards and didn't return.

Charbonnet led the Seahawks with 12 rushing touchdowns this season while racking up 730 yards on 184 carries. His 48 rushing first downs also topped the team, and he averaged more snaps per game than Kenneth Walker.

Walker had one of the best performances of his career Saturday, recording 145 yards and three touchdowns on a season-high 22 touches. The 25-year-old played 62.3% of offensive snaps - his second-highest rate this campaign.

Seattle's 126.2 rushing yards per contest during the regular season ranked seventh in the NFL.
