Teenage Bayern Munich forward Lennart Karl will miss Wednesday's return leg of their Champions League quarter-final against Real Madrid with a hamstring tear, the German club announced on Friday.
Karl, 18, is expected to be out for around three weeks and will miss Saturday's Bundesliga match at St Pauli along with the Real clash.
Karl watched from the bench as Bayern beat Real 2-1 in Madrid on Tuesday but became the youngest player in Champions League history to score in three successive matches earlier this season
The versatile forward impressed since making his debut at the start of the season and earned a first senior Germany call-up in March. He has nine goals and seven assists in all competitions this campaign.
