Watch: Mac Allister unleashes ridiculous half-volley for 1st Liverpool goal
It was worth the wait.
After going his first 16 appearances for Liverpool without a goal, midfielder Alexis Mac Allister walloped a perfectly timed half-volley past Fulham goalkeeper Bernd Leno on Sunday to bring an emphatic end to his scoreless run.
Mac Allister, who joined Liverpool from Brighton & Hove Albion in June for a reported £35 million, let the ball bounce before picking out the top corner from around 30 yards out.

The goal gave Liverpool an initial 2-1 lead before Kenny Tete equalized for Fulham in the third minute of first-half stoppage time. The Reds eventually won 4-3 after scoring twice in the final minutes of regular time. The victory extended their winning streak at Anfield to 11 matches in all competitions this season.
