Leeds go top of Championship after edging 7-goal thriller at Swansea

Leeds seized top spot in the Championship after twice coming from behind to win 4-3 in a thriller against Swansea on Sunday.

Daniel Farke's side fell behind to Harry Darling's eighth-minute opener in south Wales.

Manor Solomon levelled with his first goal for Leeds after 20 minutes before Liam Cullen restored the hosts' advantage three minutes into first-half stoppage time.

Ben Cabango's own goal in the 55th minute hauled Leeds back into the game and Israel forward Solomon struck again in the 73rd minute.

Florian Bianchini appeared to have rescued a point for Swansea in the 90th minute.

But Leeds went straight up the other end and Wilfried Gnonto slid home from Daniel James' pass to end their away-day woes.

Leeds, chasing a return to the Premier League after last season's play-off final loss to Southampton, had gone four games without an win on their travels.

But their second-half revival lifted them from fourth place, above second-placed Sunderland and third-placed Sheffield United on goal difference.

Swansea were in action for the first time since a change of ownership following the end of Jason Levien and Steve Kaplan's eight-year spell at the club.

The American pair sold their majority shareholding to Andy Coleman, Brett Cravatt and Nigel Morris and Jason Cohen, but promotion-chasing Leeds spoiled the day for Swansea's new owners.
