Watch: Villa super sub Duran downs Bayern with long-range lob
Jhon Duran assumed the role of super sub once again.
The Aston Villa striker scored his fifth goal off the bench this season - four of which proved to be match-winning strikes - with an immense first-time lob over Bayern Munich goalkeeper Manuel Neuer on Wednesday.
The 1-0 victory was a repeat scoreline of Aston Villa's 1982 European Cup final triumph over Bayern Munich in Rotterdam. The Birmingham club is perfect after two matches in the Champions League's new "league phase" after its opening 3-0 stroll past Young Boys.

Aston Villa didn't lack ambition against Bayern, but some solid foundations helped keep their German visitors at bay. Harry Kane didn't attempt his first shot of the match until the 94th minute, and Emiliano Martinez made some fine saves in the closing stages.
Defender Pau Torres also impressed for Villa. He had a first-half goal disallowed for a tight offside in the build-up while contributing four tackles, four clearances, and three blocked shots over the match.
But Duran - who almost joined West Ham United in the summer - was the hero again. He replaced Ollie Watkins in the 70th minute and took just nine minutes to catch Neuer out of position.
"It's a night we'll remember for a long time," Martinez told TNT Sports post-match, according to The Guardian's Taha Hashim.
