Kamaru Usman and Colby Covington will finally run it back.

The two bitter foes will renew their rivalry in a welterweight title match at UFC 268 in November, promotion president Dana White told ESPN's Brett Okamoto.

The UFC is targeting Madison Square Garden in New York for the venue.

After years of brewing animosity, Usman and Covington met in a thrilling five-round battle at UFC 245 in 2019. Usman earned a TKO victory with 50 seconds left in the fight, but Covington has been calling for a rematch ever since the tightly contested affair.

In the time since, Usman has defended his belt against Gilbert Burns and twice against Jorge Masvidal. He now stands as the No. 2 pound-for-pound male fighter in the UFC's rankings.

Since the loss, Covington earned a TKO victory over former champion Tyron Woodley in September 2020.

White said the rematch was the fight to make after Usman successfully defeated Masvidal a second time in April.

Usman owns a 19-1 record and hasn't lost since 2013. Covington has a 16-2 professional record.
