Snoop Dogg defends Kansas show: 'The audience enjoyed that shit'
Warning: Story contains coarse language
Snoop Dogg says Kansas knew what it was getting when the school booked him to perform at its annual "Late Night in the Phog" basketball kickoff event Friday evening.
The performance included stripper poles and money guns that shot fake $100 bills into the crowd.
"When you pay for Snoop Dogg, you gonna get Snoop Dogg," the rapper said Tuesday on "The Howard Stern Show," according to ESPN's Myron Medcalf.

Kansas athletic director Jeff Long issued a statement after the performance, saying the school "expected a clean version of the show" while apologizing for failing to "create a family atmosphere." However, Snoop thought the performance went over well with the crowd.
"The audience enjoyed that shit," he said. "I don't know what the fuck they talkin' about."
