Coastal Carolina transfer DeVante' Jones has committed to Michigan this coming season, he told ESPN's Jeff Borzello on Saturday.
Jones was recognized as the Sun Belt Conference Player of the Year in 2020-21 after averaging 19.3 points on 36.8% shooting from distance, along with 7.2 rebounds.
The 23-year-old singled out Wolverines head coach Juwan Howard as a factor in his decision.
"I had a great relationship with coach Howard. He was just understanding in my whole thought process," Jones said to Borzello.
Jones' commitment bolsters a Michigan 2021 recruiting class already ranked first in the nation, according to Rivals.com.
