Five-star wing Julian Phillips committed to LSU, he announced Friday on "The Field of 68" podcast, according to ESPN's Jeff Borzello.
Phillips is the No. 14 prospect and fifth-ranked small forward on the ESPN 100 for the Class of 2022. He becomes the first five-star recruit to commit to the 2022 Tigers class. LSU head coach Will Wade has now landed a five-star prospect in five consecutive recruitment classes, Borzello notes.
Phillips also considered offers from Florida State, Tennessee, and USC, according to Zagsblog's Adam Zagoria.
