Duke transfer and former top recruit Mark Mitchell is committing to Missouri, he told ON3's Joe Tipton Friday.
Mitchell appeared in the 2022 McDonald's All-American Game and was the No. 28 prospect in ESPN's recruiting database.
The 6-foot-8 forward had a solid impact in his two seasons at Duke, averaging 10.3 points and 5.2 rebounds while making 50.5% of his shots in 68 games, 67 of which were starts.
Mitchell struggled in the Blue Devils' surprising Elite Eight loss to NC State, scoring just six points.
The Kansas City native will join a Missouri squad that fell short of expectations last season, going 8-24 a year after an NCAA Tournament berth under head coach Dennis Gates.
