SEC leads way with 7 teams in final CFP top 25

There are only three SEC teams in the College Football Playoff field, but the conference led the way with a whopping seven programs inside the committee's final top 25.
Georgia, Texas, and Tennessee will participate in the 12-team postseason, while Alabama, Ole Miss, South Carolina, and Missouri round out the conference members in the list.
The Big Ten is next with five teams, while the Big 12 and ACC both put four programs in the top 25.
