The 2026 season is shaping up to be a historic one for Mason Heintschel at Pitt.
The Panthers quarterback opened the season by breaking the single-game ACC touchdown pass mark with seven against Miami (Ohio). He provided the encore Saturday, throwing for six scores in a blowout against Bucknell.
That gives Heintschel more ACC histoy as he's the only player in conference history to have multiple games of at least six touchdown passes in the same season.

The sophomore is now up to 13 touchdown passes on the season, just three shy of the 16 he threw during his freshman campaign.
