It was a rough day for Kamario Taylor against Alabama on Saturday, as the Mississippi State star threw two interceptions in the blowout loss.

However, there is a bit of good news for the Bulldogs' standout, as the injury that forced him out late in the game doesn't appear to be serious.

"It will be day-to-day for him," coach Jeff Lebby told Sam Sklar of the Mississippi Clarion Ledger. "We'll let the injury report Wednesday for LSU speak to where we're at."

That is significant news for Mississippi State, as Taylor has ascended to one of the best quarterbacks in the country in his first season as a starter. Even with his struggles against the Crimson Tide, Taylor still boats a 17-to-4 touchdown-to-interception ratio on the season.

He will need to be at his best if the Bulldogs are going to rebound with a very difficult road trip to LSU on deck.
