'Ex-pro football player' Manziel now starring in auto insurance ads

Johnny Manziel has a new gig as an auto insurance spokesperson.

The former Heisman Trophy winner stars in a new commercial for Direct Auto Insurance, in which he refers to himself as an "ex-pro football player" and says he knows "what's it like to not know where your next paycheck is coming from."

Manziel last played in the NFL in 2015 as a member of the Cleveland Browns. He went on to have brief stints in the CFL and the now-defunct AAF, and recently expressed interest in reuniting with coach June Jones on Houston's XFL team.
