Tight end Thaddeus Moss will undergo surgery to repair a Jones fracture in his right foot, sources told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero and Ian Rapoport.

The LSU product's fracture was discovered during his physical at the NFL combine. Florida wide receiver Van Jefferson had the same ailment uncovered during his physical.

The son of Pro Football Hall of Fame wide receiver Randy Moss decided not to participate in combine drills before the event began. He and Jefferson - both potential Day 2 draft picks - are expected to be healthy long before training camp.

Moss posted 47 receptions for 570 yards and four touchdowns in 2019 while helping LSU win the national championship.
