Vikings' Cook to play vs. Browns
Minnesota Vikings running back Dalvin Cook will play in Sunday's contest against the Cleveland Browns, he told NFL Network's Tom Pelissero.
The star rusher was officially made active for the Week 4 matchup. He missed last week's game against the Seattle Seahawks with an ankle injury.
Cook was unable to practice last week due to the ailment. He's managed limited participation this week and is officially listed as questionable.
The Browns currently own the league's fifth-best run defense, allowing 201 yards on the ground in three games and just 3.1 yards per carry.
In his absence last week, backup Alexander Mattison carried the ball 26 times for 112 yards in a 30-17 victory.
Cook is coming off a 131-yard performance against the Arizona Cardinals in Week 2.
The 26-year-old finished second in the league in rushing last season with 1,557 yards in 14 games.
