Last year's result

Adam Svensson made it two Canadian winners in seven years at the RSM Classic with his first career victory on the PGA TOUR. Svensson birdied the 16th and 17th holes during a final-round 64 to pull away from Brian Harman and Sahith Theegala to claim the title by two strokes. His 19-under score looked very familiar: The event's winner has now finished on that number in four of the last five years.

FedEx Fall finale

The crucial points race to secure a spot in next season's first two signature events and a full PGA TOUR card is the most important storyline to follow - the event doubles as the finale for the FedEx Cup fall series. The top 50 spots were locked after the TOUR Championship, leaving the 51st to 60th spots as the coveted places in the fall series. While places 51-55 are virtually guaranteed, there could be some movement in the final spots.
