John Daly confirms 'Happy Gilmore 2' cameo

John Daly will be among the stars making a cameo in the upcoming "Happy Gilmore" sequel.

The two-time major champion confirmed his appearance in "Happy Gilmore 2" in a recent interview with Outkick's Mike Gunzelman. He also revealed a potential release date for the movie.

"I've already filmed already, we're getting it done," Daly replied when asked if Adam Sandler had reached out to him yet about "Happy Gilmore 2," adding, "it's coming out on Netflix maybe in March, April of next year."

Sandler, who who will reprising his role as the titular character in the movie, hinted at Daly making a cameo during an appearance on "The Dan Patrick Show" in May.

"I would like to think so," Sandler said. "You never know, but I love him."

Production on "Happy Gilmore 2" got underway in New Jersey in early September.
