The final round of The Players Championship resumed at 5:15 p.m. ET Sunday after a four-hour delay due to lightning in the area around TPC Sawgrass.
Tee times were moved up over four hours for the final round and players went off both No. 1 and No. 10 in threesomes to try to complete the event before the storms hit.
The final trio had teed off on the 11th hole when the horn blew to stop the action.
Rory McIlroy leads the event by one stroke after birdieing the 11th shortly before the suspension.
