The U.S. women's basketball team is on upset alert as they have a slight lead over host nation France 45-43 entering the fourth quarter of the gold-medal game in Paris.
16 turnovers and a difficult shooting night have helped the French keep this a one-possession game
French star Gabby Williams leads Les Bleus with eight points and has been a terror on the defensive end of the floor, accumulating three steals through the first 30 minutes.
The Americans have not lost a match at the Olympics since 1992, winning 60 consecutive basketball games over the past 12 years. The USA is seeking its eighth straight gold at the Olympics.
