Caitlin Clark's rookie scoring record didn't stand for long.

Minnesota Lynx guard Olivia Miles became the highest-scoring rookie in WNBA history Sunday against the Connecticut Sun, surpassing Clark's record of 769 points set in 2024.

Miles, 23, entered Sunday's game averaging 19.7 points in 31 minutes over 39 contests. The All-Star has eight points at halftime against the Sun.

The Lynx have two games remaining in the regular season - both against Clark's Indiana Fever. Minnesota has already clinched a postseason spot and leads the WNBA with a 31-10 record.
