Report: Arsenal preparing 2nd Raphinha bid amid Chelsea, Spurs interest
It's unclear how much Arsenal's initial offer was worth, but it's understood that Leeds are demanding at least £65 million.
The Gunners reportedly opened negotiations with Leeds in March for the coveted 25-year-old, who's under contract until 2024. However, competition for Raphinha is starting to heat up.
Additionally, Barcelona have been heavily linked with Raphinha. But despite agreeing to personal terms with the Brazilian international "months ago," Barcelona could find themselves out of the race given they value Raphinha at £35 million to £40 million, according to Romano.
Raphinha, who joined Leeds from Rennes for £17 million in 2020, scored 11 goals in 35 Premier League appearances last season.
Arsenal have also been heavily linked with Raphinha's Brazilian teammate, Gabriel Jesus. The Manchester City forward could reportedly cost the Gunners as much as £50 million.
