Report: AC Milan complete loan deal for Man City's Walker
Kyle Walker is moving to Italy.
AC Milan reached an agreement with Manchester City to sign the right-back on loan until the end of the season, according to transfer insider Fabrizio Romano.
The deal includes an option for Milan to make Walker's stay permanent in the summer.
The 34-year-old is expected to travel to Milan in the coming days to complete the deal after undergoing a medical.
Walker won 17 titles, including six Premier League trophies and the Champions League, after joining Manchester City from Tottenham Hotspur in 2017.
After being named captain at the start of the season, manager Pep Guardiola revealed earlier this month that Walker had asked to leave Manchester City.
"In his mind, he would like to explore it, to go to another country, to play the last years (somewhere else) for many reasons," Guardiola said.
Saudi Arabian clubs were reportedly interested in pursuing him, but Walker preferred to remain in Europe in hopes of keeping his England place as he attempts to reach 100 caps with the national team.
