Top story: Liverpool didn't skimp on TAA offer
By advancing in talks with Real Madrid, Trent Alexander-Arnold seems to have rejected Liverpool's offer to make him the highest-paid English player in the Premier League. Liverpool have been aware all along of Madrid's negotiations with Alexander-Arnold, who's in the final months of his contract with the Reds and allowed as a pending free agent to speak to other clubs. Liverpool are keeping their offer on the table in case he changes his mind.
Currently, Manchester City's Jack Grealish leads all Englishmen in the Premier League with an annual salary of £15.6 million and ranks fifth among all players in the division. Alexander-Arnold would replace him if he were to accept Liverpool's proposal. (TBR Football)
