Guler continues row with Szoboszlai: 'This guy is a joke'
The feud between Real Madrid's Arda Guler and Liverpool's Dominik Szoboszlai has continued off the pitch following their clash in the Nations League on Sunday.
A day after scoring to help Turkey progress in the Nations League with a 6-1 aggregate win, Guler called Szoboszlai "a joke" after the Hungary star's reaction to his "shhh' gesture during the game.
Szoboszlai commented "1088" to an Instagram post showing Guler's "shhh" gesture, a reference to the number of minutes that the Turkey midfielder has played for Real Madrid this season.
Guler replied Monday on Instagram, saying: "This guy is a joke. Isn't six goals enough to shut you up?"
Szoboszlai has played a significant role for Liverpool this season, scoring five goals in 22 games for the Premier League leaders. Meanwhile, Guler has struggled at Madrid, with 21 of his 31 appearances coming as a substitute this season.
