Manchester United reached an agreement with Atalanta to sign midfielder Ederson, The Athletic's David Ornstein reports.
The English club will pay a £35-million fixed fee, plus £4 million in potential add-ons, to bring Ederson to Old Trafford, Ornstein adds.
United have reportedly already agreed to personal terms with the Brazilian midfielder, with the deal set to run until June 2030. The contract also includes an option to extend for an additional 12 months, per Ornstein.
The two sides apparently intend to complete the transfer in early July, and Ederson still needs to undergo a medical.
The 26-year-old will become the first new arrival at Old Trafford this summer. The Red Devils will likely seek another midfielder after Casemiro left on a free transfer.
