Athletics pitcher J.T. Ginn entered the ninth inning just three outs shy of completing a no-hitter against the Los Angeles Angels. But two batters later, Ginn was walking off the field with a loss after Zach Neto launched a walk-off two-run homer to clinch a 2-1 victory for Los Angeles.

Adam Frazier led off the final inning by singling to center, breaking up Ginn's no-hitter. Moments later, Neto inflicted the decisive blow with a blast to center field.

Both teams headed into the ninth inning deadlocked in a scoreless tie until Lawrence Butler's pinch-hit single brought in a run for the Athletics.

Ginn, who didn't record an out in the ninth, finished with a career-high 10 strikeouts and allowed just one walk.

Mike Fiers threw the Athletics' last no-hitter on May 7, 2019.
