The Chicago Cubs dropped their 10th game in a row Tuesday, losing 12-1 to the Pittsburgh Pirates at PNC Park.
Chicago's been outscored 65-25 during the slide.
The Cubs joined the 2017 Los Angeles Dodgers as the only teams in MLB history to have a double-digit losing streak and multiple double-digit winning streaks in the same season.
The Dodgers did end up winning 104 games that season en route to the World Series, where they lost to the scandal-ridden Houston Astros.
Chicago (29-26) is now tied with the Pirates for last in the NL Central.
Jordan Wicks took the loss, surrendering eight earned runs on nine hits with one walk and five strikeouts over 4 1/3 innings.
Pittsburgh collected 15 hits in the victory. Rookie Esmerlyn Valdez had a home run and three RBIs in his home debut.
