Los Angeles Dodgers prospect Kendall George hurt his left knee Monday after a near collision with a bat dog, sources told Fabian Ardaya and Jesús Cano of The Athletic.
George, who currently plays for Double-A Tulsa Drillers, tried to jump out of the dog's way after scoring in the second inning against the Northwest Arkansas Naturals. However, he ended up hobbling off the field.

George had imaging done Tuesday, and initial tests weren't encouraging, according to Ardaya and Cano.
George, who was selected in the first round of the 2023 draft, has 179 stolen bases over 268 games in the minors. He swiped 100 bags across 111 contests in Single-A last season before advancing to Double-A this year.
The 21-year-old is the No. 13-ranked prospect in the Dodgers' minor-league system, according to MLB Pipeline.
