Blue Jays manager John Schneider said Guerrero's removal was precautionary after the slugger missed two games earlier this week with lower back tightness.
"I just want to be careful. Just checked with him, he's feeling better. Nothing like what it was when he missed a couple games," Schneider said after the 16-2 loss, according to Arden Zwelling of Sposrtsnet.
Guerrero was 0-for-3 in the contest before leaving.
