Report: UFC's Ferguson arrested for DUI after crash
UFC fighter Tony Ferguson was arrested Sunday morning after being involved in a multi-vehicle crash in Hollywood, the Los Angeles Police Department told ESPN's Brett Okamoto.
Ferguson is facing a misdemeanor DUI charge, TMZ Sports reports.
The 39-year-old allegedly crashed his truck into two parked cars, flipping his vehicle on its side, but there were no injuries, per TMZ. The incident reportedly took place around 2 a.m. PT.
Ferguson refused to take a field sobriety test, law enforcement sources told TMZ.
His management declined to comment on the situation, according to Okamoto.
Ferguson is a former UFC interim lightweight champion and one of the best fighters in promotion history to never challenge for an undisputed title. But he has hit a slump in recent years, losing five straight. The California native is coming off a submission defeat to Nate Diaz in the UFC 279 main event in September.
