Next weekend's UFC Fight Night card has a new main event.
Heavyweights Waldo Cortes-Acosta and Johnny Walker will square off on short notice in the Nov. 7 headliner at the Meta Apex in Las Vegas, sources told MMA Fighting.
Welterweights Sean Brady and Gabriel Bonfim were scheduled to meet in the original main event, but an injury forced Brady out of the fight Thursday.
It's unclear whether Cortes-Acosta versus Walker will be a three- or five-round bout.
Cortes-Acosta is looking to snap a two-fight skid after suffering unanimous decision losses to Alexander Volkov and Curtis Blaydes earlier in 2026. He had previously won three in a row, including a second-round TKO of Derrick Lewis.
Walker, a former light heavyweight contender, made his heavyweight debut at UFC 332 earlier in October, knocking out Mick Parkin with a knee in the first round. He's 2-1 in his last three Octagon appearances.
