The Miami Heat reached an agreement on a two-year, $11.6-million contract with Avery Bradley, his representative told The Athletic's Shams Charania.

In 49 games before the 2019-20 campaign went on hiatus in mid-March, the 29-year-old combo guard averaged 8.6 points, 2.3 rebounds, and 1.3 assists, starting all but five of his appearances for the Los Angeles Lakers.

Bradley was notably absent from the NBA's campus in Orlando this summer, sitting out the season restart due to the health of his son, who has a history of respiratory illness.

Despite missing the postseason - including the Finals versus the Heat - Lakers general manager Rob Pelinka insisted the team would offer Bradley a championship ring for his contributions last season.
