The Los Angeles Lakers signed forward Sekou Doumbouya to a two-way contract, the team announced Tuesday.
The Detroit Pistons selected Doumbouya 15th overall two years ago. He averaged 5.6 points and 2.8 boards over 94 appearances with the club.
Detroit dealt Doumbouya and Jahlil Okafor to the Brooklyn Nets in September. The Frenchman registered 11 points and four boards in his only preseason contest for the Nets.
Doumbouya was traded to the Houston Rockets last Wednesday but was waived the following day.
