The majority of Paul's career assists came as a member of the Pelicans and Los Angeles Clippers. He remains the all-time leader in assists for both franchises.

The Spurs later presented Paul with a framed keepsake featuring all the teammates he's assisted over his storied career.

Paul signed a one-year, $10.5-million contract with the Spurs during the offseason.
