Blazers' Thybulle available to make season debut vs. Knicks
Portland Trail Blazers wing Matisse Thybulle is available to make his season debut Wednesday against the New York Knicks.
However, Blazers head coach Chauncey Billups said he was uncertain whether the guard would actually play, according to Sean Highkin of Rip City Radio 620.
Thybulle has been held out this season due to knee and ankle injuries. He is officially listed as questionable on the NBA's injury report.
The Australian wing averaged 5.4 points, 2.1 rebounds, 1.7 steals, and 1.4 assists in his first full season with the Blazers. Portland acquired him in a three-team swap at the trade deadline in 2023.
The Blazers are 15-10 in their last 25 games. They sit five games outside the play-in tournament with a 28-38 record.
Thybulle holds career averages of 4.8 points, two rebounds, 1.5 steals, and 1.1 assists. He made the All-Defensive second team in 2021 and 2022.
