Minnesota Timberwolves star Anthony Edwards has been cleared for on-court basketball activities and is listed as questionable for Game 1 of the Western Conference semifinals, the team announced Sunday.
Edwards was reportedly expected to miss multiple weeks after suffering a bone bruise and hyperextension in his left knee during Game 4 of the T-Wolves' opening-round series versus the Denver Nuggets.
The four-time All-Star is also managing inflammation in his right knee, which kept him sidelined down the stretch of the regular season.
Edwards released a video on his YouTube channel earlier Sunday featuring clips of his rehab and an interview with David Hines, Minnesota's vice president of medical operations and performance.
The former No. 1 overall pick is averaging 18.5 points, 6.8 rebounds, three assists, and 1.3 blocks across four playoff appearances.
Ayo Dosunmu has started in Edwards' absence, though he was a late scratch in Game 6 of the first round due to a calf injury. He's also listed as questionable for Monday's series opener against the San Antonio Spurs.
Minnesota is already without Donte DiVincenzo for the remainder of the postseason after he tore his Achilles tendon in Game 4 against the Nuggets.
