Jaylen Brown doubled down on his criticism of the officiating in the Boston Celtics' series against the Philadelphia 76ers, appearing to call for investigations into three unnamed referees during a Twitch livestream Sunday.

"There's some referees that, if I had to choose, if I had to say, 'There's some referees that need to be investigated,' out of all the officiating, we had three of them in our last three games," Brown said while watching back Saturday's Game 7 on the stream.

After leading Joe Mazzulla's side with 33 points in the season-ending defeat, Brown vented to reporters about 76ers star center Joel Embiid, who he claimed gets "rewarded" by officials for embellishing contact.

The Celtics forward again took aim at Embiid on his stream.

"Flopping has ruined our game," the Celtics forward said. "Joel Embiid is a great player. One of the best bigs in f-----g basketball history. Flops.

"He knows it. This isn't breaking news. It is what it is."

Brown expressed frustrations with officials multiple times during the regular season. In January, the NBA fined him $35,000 for complaining about the officiating crew after a loss to the San Antonio Spurs in which he specifically named referee Curtis Blair in his postgame rant. Blair was not involved in any of Boston's first-round games against Philadelphia.

The five-time All-Star suggested his persistent criticism throughout the campaign led him to be targeted by officials in the playoffs for offensive fouls.

"They clearly had an agenda. Maybe because I spoke so critical on them in the regular season," Brown said.
