The NBA revealed the 2025-26 All-Defensive teams Friday, with unanimous Defensive Player of the Year Victor Wembanyama earning the second selection of his three-year career.
Wembanyama is joined by his Western Conference finals opponent and Oklahoma City Thunder star Chet Holmgren on the first team. Minnesota Timberwolves center Rudy Gobert is the third 7-footer among the top five, rounded out by Detroit Pistons wing Ausar Thompson and Boston Celtics veteran Derrick White.

Toronto Raptors forward Scottie Barnes and Oklahoma City Thunder wing Cason Wallace were each named an All-Defensive pick for the first time with respective second-team selections. Barnes is just the third Raptor to make the All-Defensive second team. That list includes Kawhi Leonard and New York Knicks forward OG Anunoby, who added the second such honor to his resume Friday.

Wembanyama's selection makes him just the fifth player in NBA history to be named first-team All-Defensive twice within their first three seasons. Spurs legends Tim Duncan and David Robinson were the last two players to accomplish the feat early in their careers while Michael Ray Richardson and Walt Frazier each did so with the New York Knicks.
