McClung would be eligible to play in 2021-22. However, he's expected to apply for a transfer waiver that would allow him to play as soon as next season, according to Jeff Borzello of ESPN.
He averaged 14.2 points, 2.8 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.1 steals in two seasons with Georgetown.
The 20-year-old guard has accrued a sizable following on social media out of high school due to his dunking ability.
