Report: Arizona State star Martin enters transfer portal

Arizona State star Remy Martin entered the transfer portal Tuesday, a source told ESPN's Jeff Borzello.
Martin averaged a team-high 19.1 points, 3.7 assists, and 1.2 steals en route to his second straight All-Pac-12 first-team selection. He was a 2020-21 AP Preseason All-American and a midseason finalist for the Wooden Award, which is given annually to the top collegiate player.
The senior guard recently declared for the NBA draft, but the NCAA granted an extra year of eligibility for all winter sports athletes due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
Martin leaves Arizona State ranked third in the program's history in assists, sixth in points, and eighth in steals.
