DJ Wagner transfers from Kentucky to Arkansas, joining Calipari
Former Kentucky guard DJ Wagner is transferring to Arkansas, his family told CBS Sports' Matt Norlander.
The former All-American is the sixth former Kentucky player or commit to leave for the Razorbacks since John Calipari, who led the Wildcats for 15 seasons, signed as Arkansas' head coach in April.
Wagner, the No. 1 recruit in the 2023 class, averaged 9.9 points and 3.3 assists for Kentucky as a freshman, starting in 28 of 29 appearances.
Among those joining Wagner at Arkansas next season are fellow Kentucky transfers Adou Thiero and Zvonimir Ivisic, as well as incoming five-star freshman Boogie Fland, who decommitted from Kentucky days after Calipari's surprising move.
The Razorbacks have also added guard Johnell Davis from Florida Atlantic, a co-recipient of the AAC Player of the Year award.
