Maryland lands 5-star recruit Oladotun
Five-star recruit Babatunde Oladotun has committed to Maryland, he told ESPN's Paul Biancardi.
Oladotun is the No. 8 overall recruit and third-ranked power forward on the ESPN 100 for 2026.
The teenager chose his home state school over Georgetown and Arkansas.
"Staying home just hits different," Oladotun told Biancardi, per Jeff Borzello of ESPN.
Oladotun was the No. 1 overall prospect for 2027 before reclassifying to next year's class.
The 6-foot-10 forward is a three-level scorer that boasts a 7-foot-1 wingspan.
Oladotun joins a solid recruiting class that features four-star prospects Kaden House, Austin Brown, and Adama Tambedou.
Maryland made its first Sweet 16 in nine years last season. The Terrapins are currently in their first season with Buzz Williams at the helm.
