Former Miami quarterback Jake Garcia is transferring to Missouri, sources told ESPN's Pete Thamel.
Garcia, who has three years of eligibility remaining, is expected to enroll later this week, Thamel adds. He entered the portal earlier this week after two seasons at Miami.
The ex-Hurricanes signal-caller threw for 803 yards with five touchdowns to four interceptions during the 2022 campaign. He had two touchdown passes and zero interceptions during the 2021 season.
Garcia committed to Miami in 2021 as the No. 23 overall recruit in the class, according to ESPN. He was also listed as the third-best pocket passer in the 2021 recruiting class.
He's slated to compete in a Missouri quarterback room that also includes Brady Cook and Sam Horn.
