Miami quarterback Darian Mensah went 20-for-20 in Friday's first half against Wake Forest, throwing for 193 yards and two touchdowns by the break.
That streak of completions to open a game marked a new Hurricanes record and a new ACC record. Miami took a 24-7 lead into halftime.
Mensah joined the Hurricanes over the offseason on a transfer from Duke. His first 10 quarters in a Miami uniform have been nothing short of sensational.

Mensah finally threw his first incompletion of the game on his 25th attempt, which came in the third quarter. It snapped a string of 35 consecutive connections dating back to last week's outing against Florida A&M, one shy of the FBS record set by East Carolina's Dominique Davis in 2011.
Miami entered Friday's contest ranked fifth. The Hurricanes went to the national title game last season with Carson Beck at quarterback.
